We are delighted to hear that you are thinking about a visit from us and our furry friends! In order to generate a quotation for you we need a little information from you.

Please note: Each group of approximately 20 students gets 40 minutes (+ changeover time) with the animals where they get to interact with the following animals: Rabbits, Guinea Pigs, Chicks, Hens, Ducks, Piglets, Lambs, Goats (& kids if we have them). All the students will get to pet and hold the animals and learn all about them, and we like to inject as much fun as possible into our shows!

We generally take 2 groups at a time : 1 group will go to the smaller animals station for 20 mins, the other to the larger animals station. Each group leaves their area by one way system as we sanitise seats and equipment. This just takes 5 minutes. And then they get another 20 minutes at their new station. This way we can facilitate up to 12 groups in a day. Smaller groups may get 10 or 15 minutes per station as they average having more 1:1 time.

As a safety precaution all children must wash or sanitise their hands till dry before and after handling the animals and it is the teacher’s responsibility to ensure this happens. All Wooly farm staff will have received Covid Health and Safety training and will have undergone covid screening pre-visit. They will be wearing masks, sanitising their hands and equipment regularly. For the small furry animal cuddling to further decrease our contact with the children you can opt for a school staff member to hand out the animals instead of us – you can discuss that between you there! We bring gazebos with us so the event can remain outdoors if it rains. As you have attendance records we may have to liaise with you at a later stage should contact tracing become necessary.

All our insurances, risk assessments, and animal welfare documents are fully compliant and are available on request. All staff are Garda Vetted, First Aiders and have a Child Protection Certificate.
