Hatcheries

As an interactive introduction to the circle of life why not invite us to your school or creche to explain the incubation process to your class. We will arrive with all the equipment you need to hatch out chicks for yourselves. We will introduce your class to our beautiful hens and our cute little chicks. The children can take turns to pet the baby chicks and to hold the hens. We will then sanitise their hands and give them a sticker. Afterwards, we will give a brief explanation of the incubation process and show you what to do. It’s really very straightforward and it is a lovely way to get your class involved, and for them to see (and hear) firsthand how the chicks develop!
